REMINDERS:

  1. Fill in the feedback box at the top of the grading sheet.

  2. Be sure to fill out the student sections of the grading sheet.  Fill in the names/description (For example, “Dominick” or “the actor”) of your characters and narrator where asked to do so on the grading sheet.  If your grading sheet doesn’t have a line provided next to the narrator, please be sure to fill in the name/description of the narrator, too.  (For example, “Buddy” or “the dog”)

  3. Be sure to put a check mark or an “x” next to each category (of Chaucer’s list of 7–i.e., appearance or speech) you used for each character to make sure Wally knows which 5 you intended to use.

  4. Make sure what your narrator knows about the 3 characters is plausible–i.e., it must make sense/be explained that/how your narrator knows what is revealed about the 3 characters.  Your narrator cannot act like some omniscient deity who suddenly seems to know that one of the characters robbed a bank, for example, when she was 16.  If your narrator reveals this, it should be explained HOW that narrator knows this.

  5. If you are doing the paper with a partner,  put both names in the upper right hand corner by the pagination like this:     Montwill/Hilpipre 2  and then for the heading, put both names.

  6. Do not turn this paper in in a folder.  Just staple it together with the grading sheet on top.  By the way, make sure all required items in your folder (both the pink boxes and the yellow columns) are filled out for each paper you have back.  You need to use this information to comment on in the FINAL CC (due the last day of class).
